Return and Refund Policy

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

If you wish to cancel an order you must inform us in writing as soon as possible by sending us an email.

If we receive your order cancellation instruction before we have dispatched the goods to you, you shall be entitled to a full refund of the total order price minus the transaction fee we have incurred when we processed your payment. This transaction fee is typically around 3% of the total order price, though this figure is subject to change without notice and we cannot guarantee what this figure will be prior to receiving any individual order. The refund payment will be made in accordance with the Refunds section below.

If we receive your order cancellation after we have dispatched your goods to you, then you may no longer cancel your order. 

Products that modify your 4x4 are designed for off-road use only, Vitmods will not be held liable for any loss or personal injury, immediate or consequential arising from the fitment of offroad modifications purchased from us or anyone selling used or items you have not directly purchased from us.. You should be aware that these products may affect the handling of your vehicle and you should modify your driving technique appropriately. It is advisable to periodically check that all nuts and bolts, etc are tight and secure. When modifying 4x4's eg fitting larger tyres, bigger lifts etc this can cause more strain on the standard components, which they were not designed for so more wear and tear / breakages can happen. Modifying your vehicle could create dangerous conditions which can cause serious injury or death, buyers and users of products from this store accept all risks associated with modifications and use.

Warranty covers manufacturing defects and breakage during normal use, for as long as you own the vehicle. Does not include paint finish. All warranties are applies to the original purchaser and are not transferable to subsequent owners of the product. The warranty period commences on the purchase date of the product. Vitmods warrants that it will repair or replace, free of charge, any eligible product which, under normal conditions of use and service, suffers breakage or proves to be defective in materials or workmanship. This warranty does not cover any labour costs incurred in diagnosis of defects, removal or reinstallation of a product, nor does it cover any other consequential expenses.

Warranty Exclusions

Vitmods warranty does not cover, and Vitmods shall not be liable for, any undertaking, representation, or agreements made by dealers or other third parties selling our products, except where such agreements are within the provisions of this Warranty.
Specifically excluded from this warranty are failures caused by lack of maintenance, misuse, negligence, modification, abuse, improper application, crash damage, installation or operation, or failures caused by unauthorised service or use of unauthorised parts.
All parts used in a competitive racing environment are excluded from this warranty. If, after inspection, a part returned, under any warranty, is deemed to be ineligible for warranty repair or replacement, the part may be repaired or replaced for a discounted cost. Return shipping charges will apply.
Return shipping charges will apply. Any part for which a warranty replacement is sought must be returned to Vitmods before any replacement items can be shipped. All replacement parts shipped before the suspect part has been received and evaluated by Vitmods, MUST BE PAID IN FULL. In such a case, after the suspect part has been received and approved for a warranty replacement, the purchase price for the replacement will be refunded.

Lifetime Warranty

This warranty is only on our own springs and is none-transferable - warranty applied to original purchaser and we may ask for proof of purchase - warranty covers failure and breakages and not corrosion or finish defects. 

Winches

Some winches are supplied with a 12 month return to base warranty (Manufacturer and NOT Vitmods) and is supplied with a wireless remote which suitable for use in Leisure and Non Commercial applications only. Use of the wireless control supplied in commercial and industrial applications is not covered by warranty.  For these applications a professional control such as a Lodar should be fitted.

• An event which is outside of our reasonable control. If our supply of the goods is delayed by an event outside our control then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. Provided we do this we will not be liable for delays caused by the event, but if there is a risk of substantial delay you may contact us to end the contract and receive a refund for any goods you have paid for but not received; or
• Your provision of incorrect information, such as your delivery address.

5.6 When you become responsible for the goods.

The goods will be your responsibility from the time we deliver the goods to the address you gave us.

5.7 When you own goods

You own the goods once we have received payment in full.

5.8 No international delivery

Unfortunately, we do not deliver to addresses outside the United Kingdom. You may place an order for goods from outside the United Kingdom, but this order must be for delivery to an address in the United Kingdom.
